What do I do?

I work with highly motivated, hard-working, passionate, caring, loving adults that have been facing problems with their relationship with food, self-image and self-esteem. Since 2017 I have been helping people struggling with eating related problems, such as an unbalanced diet, going from restrictive diets to binge eating or people dealing with emotional eating problems. I have found that people with those kinds of difficulties are often perfectionists, with a black or white way of thinking, often the ones taking care of everyone, but neglecting to take care of themselves.

During our work together, I will guide you and help you understand the deeper reasons for your eating behavior, a behavior that might have once served you but is no longer the best choice for you. I will help you create different thought processes that are closer to who you are now and what you need in order to grow to the best possible version of yourself.

How do I do it?

Our sessions will be conducted online, on a weekly basis, on a date and time we will agree, with each session lasting 50 minutes. The first few sessions will be introductory. You will be asked to describe the problem you are facing and I will get to know you to assess the problem and the best course of action, as we set our therapeutic goals. Depending on what suits you best, an additional session might be added in the first weeks, in which I will be able to provide some psychoeducational or nutritional facts that will help you understand your problem better.
